Tell us about your project by phone or online, in a few lines. We get back to you to talk it through: what is there now, what you want to change and when.

A price for each job
The quote lists separately the removal of the old tiles, the work on the walls, the fitting and the finishing. You compare, adjust whatever needs adjusting, then sign when you are happy with everything.

The work, trade by trade
We agree the start date together. Then the trades come into your home one after another, each one starting on finished work: pipes and cables, partition walls, floors, joinery, painting.

Walking round the work together
At the end of the project, we go round every room with you. Any touch-up still needed is put in writing, and your legal guarantees start that day, including the 10-year builder's guarantee (garantie décennale).

Your questions
What does a general building contractor do?
It brings several trades together on the same project and organises when each one comes in, under a single quote. You sign once, you follow the work with a single point of contact, and one company is answerable for the whole job. NS BAT 33 has worked this way since 2020, in Bordeaux and the Gironde, for private clients and businesses alike.
What should you check before choosing a renovation company?
Four things: an active SIREN number (the French company registration number), which you can check on the official Annuaire des entreprises; the certificate for the 10-year builder's guarantee insurance, attached to the quote; a quote priced line by line; recent customer reviews. What VAT rate applies to work on a home?
Usually 10%, if the home was completed more than two years ago: the reduced rate covers improvement, conversion, fitting out and maintenance work. The 2025 Finance Act replaced the old certificate with a statement on your quote or invoice confirming that the conditions are met. The rate applied is shown on every NS BAT 33 quote.
What guarantees apply once the work is finished?
Three guarantees start at handover. The one-year completion guarantee (garantie de parfait achèvement) covers every defect reported during the first year; the two-year equipment guarantee (garantie biennale) covers fittings that can be removed without damaging the building; the 10-year builder's guarantee covers damage that threatens the soundness of the structure or makes it unfit for use. NS BAT 33 owes you all three.
