Crimping a multilayer pipe fitting under a kitchen sink

We redo water supplies and waste pipes, then fit your sanitaryware.

NS BAT 33 handles the plumbing in your renovations: hot and cold water supply, waste pipes and the supply to the water heater. Old pipes are replaced, water points follow your new layout and every new fitting gets its connection. House, period flat or shop, the pipework adapts to the layout of each property.

Straight after demolition, the supply and waste pipes take their final place in the walls and under the floors. Waterproofing, wall tiles and floors come next; sanitaryware and taps go in right at the end. Every bathroom or kitchen renovation is organised around this pipe route, agreed with you at the planning stage.

A question about a waste pipe, a mixer tap or the water heater? You ask your contact, who also oversees the tiling, partition walls and painting on your project, under a single contract. Our base in Cenon puts us close to Lormont, Floirac, La Bastide and Bègles, as well as the whole of Bordeaux Métropole.

Plumbing

What the work includes

  • Water supply and waste pipes

Old copper or lead pipes make way for new pipework, and new water points appear where your plan needs them. Every waste pipe keeps a steady fall all the way to the main drain: water drains away freely.

  • Fitting sanitaryware

Fitted once the wall tiles and floors are finished, basins, WCs, baths, shower trays, sinks and taps stay clear of knocks during the work. We connect them, and you get them as if straight out of the box.

  • Walk-in shower

For a level-access shower, the waste runs through the floor. We plan for it from the demolition stage, then the waterproofing and tiling follow: you step straight in, onto a floor that guides water to the drain.

  • Fitting the water heater

Your new water heater is chosen to suit the size of your household, fitted in the planned position, then connected to the water and to its electrical supply, two connections made by the same company.

  • Kitchen and appliances

New kitchen, new layout: water and waste pipes reach the sink, dishwasher and washing machine before the units arrive to conceal these connections. Each appliance finds its water point exactly where your plan shows it.

Why choose us for this work

  • Water points where you need them

Your plan sets the position of every water point, whether it is a washing machine in the bathroom or a sink facing the living room: we bring the water to it.

  • Pipes you forget are there

Your pipes disappear into partition walls, under the floor or behind neat boxing: all you see in the room is the new fittings.

  • A 10-year guarantee on your water pipes

The 10-year builder's guarantee (garantie décennale) covers your concealed pipes for ten years from handover: water seeping into a wall during that time would be covered.

How we work

How the project runs

  1. 1

    You describe your project

By phone or with the online form, you tell us what you want to transform. We call you back to pin the project down: the rooms involved, your priorities, the timing you have in mind.

  2. 2

    An itemised quote

Demolition, plumbing, plastering, painting: each job has its own line and its own price. You see exactly what you are paying for and decide with all the facts, before you sign anything.

  3. 3

    Each trade in turn

Demolition opens the project, followed by plumbing and electrics, partition walls, floors, joinery and painting. We organise this sequence: each trade starts on the finished work of the one before.

  4. 4

    Handover, room by room

We go over the work with you and record any snags on the handover report. That date starts your guarantees: one year for completion (garantie de parfait achèvement), two years for equipment (garantie biennale), ten years under the builder's guarantee (garantie décennale).

FAQ

Plumbing: your questions

Can the WC be moved?

Yes, provided its waste pipe, which is wider than the others, keeps enough fall to reach the building's soil stack or the house drain. The further the new position is from it, the more height you need under the floor. When the distance becomes too great, a macerator WC takes over.

Do the pipes in an older home need replacing?

If you are renovating the whole home, yes: replacing old pipes while everything is open protects your new finishes for years to come. For a single room, we redo the supply and waste pipes it uses, keeping the existing pipework where it is sound. The quote lists the pipes replaced room by room: you know exactly what is new.

Where should the water heater go in a renovation?

Near the kitchen and bathroom, which use most of the hot water: it then reaches the tap quickly. A cupboard, a utility room or a corner of the bathroom works very well, as long as there is a drain for its safety valve and a dedicated electrical supply. We plan this with you before work starts.

Can a water point be added in another room?

Absolutely. A cloakroom basin in the toilet, a washing machine in a utility room or a sink in a laundry room can be connected to the nearby water and waste pipes. The distance and the fall of the waste pipe determine where it can go: we check both before approving your plan.
